We collect your complete backlink data from every available source. No single source has the full picture, so we combine them all on your behalf.

2. We Score Every Link

The Link Placement Score (LPS)

Our algorithms evaluate each individual backlink and assign a score from 0 to 100 based on six weighted factors. This isn't a domain-level metric - it evaluates the link itself.

  • Topical relevance (30%) - how well the linking page's content relates to your target page
  • Link placement position (20%) - in-content, sidebar, footer, or navigation placement
  • Domain authority & trust (20%) - the linking domain's overall quality and trustworthiness
  • Anchor text quality (15%) - natural vs. over-optimised anchor text patterns
  • Brand & entity mentions (10%) - whether your brand is mentioned in the surrounding content
  • Technical link signals (5%) - follow/nofollow, HTTP status, JavaScript rendering

3. We Assess LinkRisk

Five-tier domain classification

Every linking domain is classified into one of five risk bands using our proprietary methodology, powered by the largest disavow dataset outside of Google.

  • Cross-referenced against hundreds of thousands of disavow entries from real sites
  • 40+ spam indicators analysed including link velocity, content quality, and network topology
  • Domains classified as: Good, Low Risk, Neutral, Suspect, or Bad
  • Suspect and Bad domains are flagged with specific reasons for the classification
  • Historical penalty data integrated from our dataset
